Teachers and a newer system

We know that quality teachers are the key to getting good outcomes for our students. We need a system that allows quality people to more readily move into teaching and to stay and develop a career there. Public schools seem to have lost there place in this world. and I also think they should teach kids on more current events and to help save the planet. teaching history about the same subject every year is worthless who cares what happened in 1700 teach them how to live in the now.

Also you can give the students exams. The better they do, the better the teacher. Except that some teachers may have better students to start off with, either because the students had better teachers last year or the students are brighter.
